Chiefly snapshot views taken in Colorado and Mexico, many of which pertain to power generation and mining. Colorado views
include prominent buildings and streets scenes in Denver; scenes taken near El Dorado Springs, Boulder and Clear Creek Canyon;
and various power stations. Mexico views include much documentation of mining and milling operations and other industries
in and around El Oro, Santa Barabara, Chihuahua and Toluca, including the Tecolotes silver and lead mine and the Rio Plata
Mine; views of buildings, aqueducts, street scenes, etc. in Ciudad Juárez, Monterrey, Chapultepec, Mexico City, Tehuantepec
and Vera Cruz. At least two photographs depict Tarahumara Indians. Also includes studio and snapshot portraits of unidentified
persons, possibly family members of the compiler, taken in Colorado and perhaps elsewhere; and a few photographs of American
soldiers in an unidentified camp.
